Artvin State Hospital Hemodialysis Unit was opened in November 1992. Patients are dialyzed 6 days a week. Patients are picked up from their homes by vehicle and dropped off to their homes in the same way. There are 9 dialysis devices in our unit.
As a result of regular examinations every month, dialysis treatments of our patients are carried out by our specialized doctors. In addition, consultation procedures related to all kinds of diseases of patients other than dialysis treatments are prioritized. All patients are interviewed and as a result of the necessary information, coordination is established with the relevant places for patients who want to have an organ transplant. Our psychologists work once a month to reduce the stress caused by the disease and dialysis process, to increase the success of treatment and to improve the quality of life of our patients. In addition, there are televisions designed for our patients at the head of each bed and breakfast is served to patients.
