What is the health tourism?
Health tourism means that people go to another country from their country of residence to receive health-related services.
It is a type of tourism to regain health in a different country with better opportunities and rapidly rising sector.
Our hospital is aware of the importance of health tourism and the economic contributions it will make to our country.
1. Mission; Patients who choose our country and apply to our hospital due to health tourism; Ensuring coordination of work and transactions with admission, registration, diagnosis, treatment, billing, discharge, translation and intermediary institutions.
2. Authorities and responsibilities of assigned staff
a.Unit Supervisor / Deputy Responsible: a person appointed by the hospital manager who is open to communication and has good diction, preferably speaking a foreign language
b.Unit Supervisor / Deputy Responsible Responsibilities
- Managing the necessary organizations for our hospital's international promotion services
- To communicate and cooperate with foreign institutions and organizations
- Directing patients coming for health tourism, coordinating their treatment and transportation
- Guiding foreign patients coming to our country within the scope of health tourism in the process including transportation to our hospital, treatment process, accommodation outside the hospital and return to their country.
- Providing translators in the native language of our foreign patients coming to our country within the scope of health tourism, informing them about the entire process and obtaining their consent.
- Supervising the accurate and complete registration of patients coming for health tourism by the IT personnel on duty
- Preparing and supervising correspondence regarding health tourism
- Following innovations at national and international levels in the field of health tourism
-Keeping complete statistical data in the field of health tourism
